My name is Leonard Charles, and I have been a wedding photographer for over 10 years.
I am experienced in all forms of photography from portraits to architectural. Which places me in a position to be able to deal with any situation that may arise.
I have gained a distinction for Wedding Photography and also for my landscape photography. I also have a city & Guilds qualification in photography
My style of wedding photography is a combination of traditional and contemporary.
Traditional photography consists of posed shots of the bride and groom together and the family groups, most of these shots will have the subjects looking directly into the lens.
Contemporary Wedding photography is sometimes known as reportage, it is a journalistic approach where the photographer simply photographs what happens as it happens, and tells the story of the day.
Occasionally some direction will be given in order to improve the shot, however I always remain unobtrusive and sensitive to the fact that it is your day, and capture the atmosphere and emotion of the day.
My images will capture candid shots of the bride and groom, and the guests, and fine details such as the bouquet, button holes, jewellery, shoes and room decorations, not forgetting of course the cake.
If there are any particular photographs that you would like me to take please let me have a list of these “must have” shots prior to the day.
I will always visit the wedding and reception venue with you prior to the big day wherever possible, to check out the locations for the photographs and the schedule for the day.
I have invested heavily in the very latest digital equipment to give me the superb quality that I desire, and can provide both colour and black and white photographs.
I cover the areas of Redditch, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, and the West Midlands.
